International Pairs
The world’s largest tournament for club golfers
Conceived in 1998, International Pairs started out with just 20 golf clubs in one English county. It has gone from strength to strength and now more than 100,000 amateur golfers from 30 countries on three continents compete for the title of International Pairs world champion. In 2008, Golf Explorer Pty Ltd became the Australian license holder for the International Pairs, giving Australians the chance to represent their country in the world's largest tournament for club golfers.
Global competition
Competitors come from as far afield as South Africa, Scotland, Thailand, Nigeria, Israel, Iceland, Portugal, Norway, the US and Canada. Participating countries represent 72 per cent of the world’s golfers.
Play St. Andrews
National champions converge on the home of golf at St Andrews, Scotland, to contest the world finals and fight for the coveted Honey Cup, named in honour of tournament founder Ross Honey. Finalists will stay at Rusacks Hotel, located beside the 18th fairway of the Old Course.
Fox Sports coverage
An international deal has now been signed between International Pairs Worldwide and Fox Sports International, which will lead to TV coverage in a number of countries including Australia over the next three years.
