Thursday, September 10: Embark - Antalya, Turkey
Arrive in Antalya and transfer to Callisto. Overnight aboard ship docked in Antalya.
Friday, September 11: Antalya
Turkey’s southern Turquoise Coast has some of the finest golf courses in the Eastern Mediterranean. During our two-day stay, enjoy playing the top two courses in the country.
GOLF: In Cornelia Golf Resort, Nick Faldo has designed one of the best new courses in Europe, from the sumptuous clubhouse to the immaculate course conditions.
TOUR: Explore Antalya, built on a cliff overlooking the azure Mediterranean. See the Old Town, the ancient ruins of Hadrian’s Gate, and visit Antalya Museum. Overnight docked in Antalya.
Saturday, September 12: Antalya
GOLF: Play the National Golf Club, created by David Feherty and routed through a woodland of eucalyptus and pine trees set against the Taurus Mountains.
TOUR: Visit Perge, with its great stadium and colonnaded marble streets, and Aspendos, with its grand 20,000-seat theater, commissioned in the 2nd century a.d. Enjoy a swim at one of Antalya’s luxury resorts before sailing for Rhodes.
Sunday, September 13: Rhodes, Greece
TOUR: During the Hellenistic period, Rhodes was a major center of commerce, learning, and the arts. Ascend Monte Smith, site of the ancient acropolis, and see the restored 2nd-century b.c. stadium, theater, and temple ruins. In lovely Lindos, after lunch at Mavrikos, one of Greece’s top restaurants, you may take a donkey ride up to the acropolis or spend time at Lindos’s beach.
Monday, September 14: Agios Nikolaos, Crete
GOLF: Often recognized as the premier course in Greece, Crete Golf Club is a marvelous creation on this ancient island. The course offers a series of memorable holes and stunning views over mountainous landscape.
TOUR: Explore Knossos, whose reconstructed palace reveals the brilliance of the Minoan civilization. Reboard Callisto in the quaint town of Agios Nikolaos and sail in the evening. A swim stop in the aquamarine waters of Mirabello Bay is planned before departing for Santorini.
Tuesday, September 15: Santorini, Greece
TOUR: After a swim at a bay on the island of Ios, arrive in legendary Santorini. Volcanic eruptions
both produced Santorini’s wild beauty and sent the Minoan civilization into irreversible decline.
Take a cable-car ride up to whitewashed Phira town to enjoy its cafes, see reproductions of Minoan frescoes at the Nomikos Exhibition, and visit the Prehistoric History Museum of Thera.
Also visit the traditional town of Oia.
Wednesday, September 16: Kalamata
Arrive in Kalamata, a lovely town built between a hill crowned by a medieval castle and the sea.
GOLF: Golfers play the new Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed Navarino Bay course, beautifully
situated on the southwest coast of the Peloponnese. The gently rolling terrain features a river, olive trees, and sandy flatlands.
TOUR: Travel through splendid countryside to Mystra, the best-preserved Byzantine town in
Greece, overlooking ancient and modern Sparta.
Thursday, September 17: Piraeus
Disembark & tour Athens
TOUR: After docking in Piraeus, tour the Athens Acropolis, crowned by the majestic Parthenon.
After lunch, transfer to the elegant King George Palace Hotel, and enjoy a reception in the hotel’s roof garden, with views of the lit Acropolis.

A PGA Golf Professional, Ron Lucas has served as General Manager/Director of Golf at Fox Hollow Golf Club and Manager/Head Professional at Belles Springs Golf Course, both in Pennsylvania. He spent four years as Head Professional at Latrobe Country Club, under the tutelage of Arnold Palmer. His client roster includes Cadillac/Callaway golf clinics, Special Olympics groups, and the Pittsburgh Youth Golf Foundation. He is a frequent guest speaker at Rotary, Kiwanis, and Jaycee clubs and at universities including Penn State. Ron is currently President and owner of Pro Golf Club Manufacturing and founder of a company specializing in custom-designed clubs and quality club repair.
