Sunday, March 29: Embark - Malaga, Costa del Sol, Spain
Arrive in Malaga. Transfer to the port to embark Callisto. Overnight docked in Malaga.
Monday, March 30: Malaga
GOLF: Enjoy the opening round of golf at Los Naranjos Golf Club, a classic course lined with fragrant orange trees.
TOUR: Tour the splendid palaces and lovely gardens of Granada’s Alhambra, which represents the brilliance of Moorish culture, art, and architecture.
Tuesday, March 31: Gibraltar
GOLF: Golfers are treated to Real Club de Golf Sotogrande, a Robert Trent Jones, Sr. masterpiece on the Costa del Sol, often rated in the top ten courses in Europe.
TOUR: Explore Gibraltar, one of Britain’s few remaining colonies. Ascend to the top of the Rock and visit Saint Michael’s Cave, the upper Galleries, and the Gibraltar Museum. Other sites include Nelson’s Anchorage and Gibraltar’s famed tailless monkeys.
Wednesday, April 1: Gibraltar
GOLF: Play at Club de Golf Valderrama, the perennial #1 golf course in continental Europe,
site of the 1997 Ryder Cup, and notorious for the approach shot to the 17th green. Cork oak and
olive trees frame this majestic layout and give each hole a distinctive feel.
TOUR: Explore the typical Andalusian “White Town” of Casares, set on a hillside below a castle. Wander around the twisting alleyways and enjoy fantastic views from the Alcazar, the remains of a Moorish castle.
Thursday, April 2: At Sea, Jorf-Lasfar, Morocco
Spend a relaxing day aboard ship as Callisto cruises along the coast of Morocco. Early in the evening, dock at Morocco’s port of Jorf-Lasfar. Overnight aboard ship docked in port.
Friday, April 3: Jorf-Lasfar
GOLF: Play El Jadida Royal Golf Course, recently listed by Golf Digest as the top golf course in Morocco. Situated close to the Atlantic Coast and designed by Cabell Robinson, El Jadida captures guests with its stunning natural beauty.
TOUR: Explore El Jadida, whose old Medina has a distinct Portuguese flavor, from the town
being held for over 250 years by Portugal. Nearby is the walled city of Azemmour, another
Portuguese stronghold.
Saturday, April 4: Jorf-Lasfar
TOUR: Enjoy our full-day excursion to Marrakech to see the Ben Youssef Medressa, Djemma el-Fna, and colorful souks before driving back to Jorf-Lasfar to spend the night aboard ship in port.
Sunday, April 5: Casablanca
GOLF: After docking in Casablanca in the morning, drive to Rabat to play Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, a glorious golf complex originally designed by Robert Trent Jones for the late King Hassan II.
TOUR: Discover Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital, and visit historic monuments like the
evocative Kasbah des Oudaias.
Monday, April 6: Tangier
TOUR: Arrive in Tangier, known for its strategic position guarding the entrance to the Mediterranean. Explore Tangier’s narrow lanes and visit the interesting Old American Legation Museum.
Tuesday, April 7: Malaga, Spain

Our hosts for this cruise are Glenn and Anne MacDonald from Vancouver, Canada. Glenn played on the European Senior Tour for five years and also competed on the South African Senior Tour. During that time, he competed in five Senior British Opens, the U.S. Senior Open, and two Canadian Senior Opens. Glenn is currently a teaching professional. Having previously traveled throughout the world, Glenn and Anne are ideal hosts for us as we explore southern Spain and Morocco.
