Itinerary
Morocco, Gibraltar & Spain: 29 November - 8 December 2009 & * 8-17 December 2009
* Please note: This departure operates in the reverse direction, embarking in Agadir and disembarking in Malaga.
Day 1: Embark - Malaga, Spain
Arrive in Malaga. Transfer to the port to embark Callisto. Overnight aboard docked in Malaga.
Day 2: Malaga
GOLF: Enjoy the opening round of golf at Los Naranjos Golf Club, a classic course lined with fragrant orange trees.
TOUR: Visit the lovely palaces and gardens of the Alhambra, which represents the brilliance of
Moorish culture, art, and architecture.
Day 3: Gibraltar
GOLF: Our two days in Gibraltar allow for playing two of Europe’s finest courses. Today head to
Real Club de Golf Sotogrande, a Robert Trent Jones, Sr. masterpiece on Spain’s Costa del Sol and often rated in the top ten courses in Europe.
TOUR: Explore Gibraltar, one of Britain’s remaining colonies. Ascend to the top of the Rock and see St. Michael’s Cave, the upper Galleries, the Gibraltar Museum, Nelson’s Anchorage, and
Gibraltar’s famed tailless monkeys.
Day 4: Gibraltar
GOLF: Play at Club de Golf Valderrama, the perennial #1 golf course in continental Europe. Cork
oak and olive trees frame this majestic layout and give each hole a distinctive feel. Site of the 1997 Ryder Cup and notorious for the approach shot to the 17th green, Valderrama offers one of the world’s superlative golf experiences.
TOUR: Explore Casares, a typical Andalusian “White Town,” set on a hillside below a castle.
Wander around the twisting lanes, enjoying views from the Alcazar, the ruins of a Moorish castle.
Day 5: Tangier, Morocco
TOUR: Experience Tangier, whose position at the entrance to the Mediterranean has drawn Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs, Spaniards, and others. Visit the Old American Legation Museum.
Day 6: Casablanca
GOLF: After docking in Casablanca, drive to Rabat to play Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, a glorious
golf complex originally designed by Robert Trent Jones for the late King Hassan II.
TOUR: Discover Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital, whose position on an estuary has long attracted settlers. Visit Rabat’s historic monuments, including the Medina, encompassing the evocative Kasbah des Oudaias.
Day 7: Jorf-Lasfar
GOLF: Play El Jadida Royal Golf Course, recently listed by Golf Digest as the top golf course in Morocco. Situated close to the Atlantic Coast and designed by Cabell Robinson, El Jadida captures guests with its stunning natural beauty.
Day 8: Safi
TOUR: From Safi, enjoy a full-day excursion to Marrakech to see the 12th-century Koutoubia
Minaret; Bahia Palace; Ben Youssef Medressa; Jewish Quarter; and Djemma el-Fna, the city’s
central square at the heart of the Medina. Walk through colorful souks before driving back to
Safi to overnight aboard ship docked in port.
Day 9: Agadir
Built around a sweeping bay, Agadir was first colonized by the Portuguese in the 15th century and was captured by the Saadians in the 1600s. Today it is one of Morocco’s loveliest and most vibrant coastal towns.
GOLF: Play at Golf du Soleil, situated between the Atlas Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean.
Serene lakes and waterfalls scatter its three courses while shady fairways and ample trees
make for an ideal atmosphere.
TOUR: Drive to Taroudant, once the imperial center of the Saadian dynasty. Explore the well-preserved walls, red ochre ramparts, and Kasbah. Overnight aboard ship, docked in Agadir.
Day 10: Agadir
Disembark & return home.

Rick Howard is a Master Teaching Professional whose experience with both PGA TOUR and LPGA players coupled with over 12 years of golf instruction experience give him an extraordinarily deep understanding of both the golf swing and the game of golf. Using state of-the-art video equipment, Rick’s simple yet effective teaching philosophy has improved the golf games of thousands of golfers throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Rick has served as the Director of Instruction at Oakmont Country Club in Dallas, Texas. He has worked with several top-name athletes and celebrities, including Adam Baldwin, Rick Rhoden, Al Del Greco, Tony Romo, and Dick Anderson, just to name a few. A former Golf Professional of the Year, Rick was a finalist on the Golf Channel’s “Big Break VI.” Rick has also been featured in several golf instruction publications. He is married with three children: Brian, Whitney, and Claire. He and his wife, Carolyn, reside in Dallas, Texas.
