Lacanau Golf Course

A superb course with pine-shaded fairways close to the Atlantic Ocean. 

Médoc Golf Course Les Châteaux

Site of the French open in 1999 this course is known for its quick greens.  Set in the heart of the wine area each hole is named after a Medoc top vintage.

Sights

Saint-Emilion

This medieval town overlooks the world-renowned Saint-Emilion vineyards and is the ideal place for wine tasting and shopping.  Built in the form of an amphitheatre, Saint-Emilion has also a remarkable monolithic church and Romanesque monuments
