Accommodation

Sofitel Centara Grand Resort & Villas, Hua Hin

The Kingdom’s first resort hotel is nestled in a tropical garden along a beautiful four-mile beach and was opened in 1923 as The Railway Hotel.  With a restful, pleasant ambience and unique architectural style, the hotel also features three outdoor swimming pools, an excellent beachfront location and close to six international golf courses.

Golf

Black Mountain Golf Club

One of the most anticipated new courses in Thailand this 36 hole layout is a great 5 star addition to Hua Hin.  No expense has been spared to make the golf course as good as possible and the view from the clubhouse is truly stunning with a panorama of the whole course.

Springfield Royal Country Club

A world class golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus and maintained to the highest international standards.  Continually rated one of the best courses in Asia.

Royal Hua Hin Golf Club

Opened in 1924 and less than 1km from the centre of town, the elegant Royal Hua Hin Golf Club is a truly unforgettable experience as players are continuously faced with majestic views of the Gulf of Thailand.  Tree lined fairways, shaded lies & regular watering holes offering various snacks. What more could a golfer ask for to provide the perfect round.

Imperial Lake View Golf Club

This is a great championship golf course with large mounds and rolling fairways normally characteristic with links golf. The carpet-like fairways are a pure delight, and rarely does a golfer find a bad lie. Like most of the Hua Hin golf courses, the beautiful mountain ranges that roll down from the distant Burmese border give the golfer a sense of true isolation and tranquility.

Sights

Khao Takiep

Khao Takiep or Chopstick Hill is south of the resort and is an extremely picturesque spot.  Climb the hill and you get panoramic views of the resort. On the hill are also many miniature shrines, and an imposing 20 metre high Buddha image.

Satukarn Market

If you are looking for something different to do at night, make your way down to the Satukarn Market. From about 6pm, a number of different restaurants start serving a variety of foods – from Italian to Indian, German to seafood – and all at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere here also makes for a very enjoyable evening.
