With golfexplorer’s unique local connections we can arrange for your group to stay in their own exclusive house.  We are able to rent many private homes in the metro Augusta area for a duration that suits your requirements.  These lovely homes range in size from 3 bedrooms to 6 bedrooms and most homes are located a short 5 to 15 car minute ride from Augusta National.

Kiawah Island Golf Resort, Scenic View Villas

Kiawah Island Golf Resort offers a beautiful natural setting near historic Charleston.  The Scenic View Villas offer pleasant and well equipped accommodation with all the conveniences of home.  The Villas interiors are casual in decor and design.

Golf

Mt. Vintage Plantation Golf Club, Augusta

Nominated for Golf Digest's "Best New Courses of 2000,” Mount Vintage delivers the rare combination of being scenic, challenging, diverse and yet fun to play for all levels of golfers.  Every hole is a wonderland of risk and reward, regardless of your tee choice. There is not an ordinary golf hole in the entire layout.

The River Golf Club, Augusta

Set along the banks of the Savannah River, The River Golf Club combines a fantastic layout with a spectacular setting to create a golfers paradise. Designed by internationally acclaimed golf course architect Jim Fazio, The River Golf Club offers a unique setting which includes large bent grass greens, numerous lakes, wetlands and dramatic bunkers.

Turtle Point Course, Kiawah Island Resort

One of Jack Nicklaus’ early designs and steeped in the finest traditions of classic golf course architecture.  Its traditional design incorporates narrow fairways, small greens, strategically placed water hazards and plenty of out-of-bounds.  Trees protect many areas at Turtle Point so players won’t always sense how the wind might affect their shots.

Ocean Course, Kiawah Island Resort

Designed by Pete Dye, The Ocean Course has unobstructed views of Kiawah’s beautiful Atlantic coastline from every hole.  Most famous for hosting the 1991 "War on the Shore," The Ocean Course has been voted "America's Toughest Resort Course" by Golf Digest and will host the 2012 USPGA Championship.

Osprey Point Course, Kiawah Island Resort

Designed by Tom Fazio and set around four large, natural lakes, fingers of saltwater marsh, and dense maritime forests of live oaks, pines, palmettos and magnolias.  Since Fazio’s design was for a member’s only type of course, Osprey Point is very playable for the average golfer. It features generous landing areas and few forced carries.

Sights / Activities

Augusta National Golf Club

Why else are you here? Without doubt the most pristinely presented golf course in the world in the second week of April.  Watch the world’s best take on Amen Corner and experience the electric atmosphere and tension that makes the final Sunday afternoon at Augusta National the most unique sporting arena in the world.  An absolute must for any golfer.

Magnolia Manor Hospitality Complex

Located approximately 150 yards from the main walk-in gate of Augusta National, Magnolia Manor has been designed to create the atmosphere of a private “Southern Country Club”.  It provides the “Ultimate Masters Golf Entertainment Experience” and includes full American breakfast buffet, luncheon buffet and an open bar throughout the day, amongst other services.
