Rated by US Golf Digest magazine in the top 100 courses in the world outside of the USA, the course is set in the heart of the scenic Wairakei Tourist Park. Designed by Wolveridge and Thomson the beautiful landscaping and magnificent tree lined fairways make it a golf experience not to be missed. This is a magnificent golf course in a very special place.
Kinloch Golf Club
Kinloch is the latest of Nicklaus' exclusive signature clubs to be completed and the only one in Australasia. It was the only course outside of America to be named among the top 10 new courses in the world by United States-based Travel and leisure golf magazine for 2007. Nicklaus proudly states that there is no one signature hole on his courses. He prefers to have 18 holes of outstanding quality, and that is something he has managed here.
Cape Kidnappers Golf Club
How do you follow Kauri Cliffs? Simple, find a site of rare and awesome beauty above 150metre towering cliffs, commission one of the hottest golf course architects, Tom Doak, and make sure every hole has incredible views of the Pacific Ocean. Royal Wellington Golf Club
Royal Wellington Golf Club was established in 1895 and received ‘Royal’ status in 2004. It has hosted numerous New Zealand Opens and in 2017 was host of the Asia Pacific Amateur Championships. This traditional parkland design course sits alongside the Hutt River near Silverstream. In 2013 Royal Wellington Golf Course was remodelled to include four brand new holes.
Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club
Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club is regarded by many as one of the greatest links courses in the southern hemisphere. Located just 45 minute’s drive from Auckland’s capital city, Wellington, it sits on the undulating dune land of the Kapiti Coast. The course has hosted the New Zealand Open a record 12 times.

Day 1
Arrive Auckland International Airport and self-drive or take a 3 hour transfer to Lake Taupo. Overnight in Sacred Waters Luxury Apartments, Lake Taupo.
Day 2
Play a round at Kinloch Golf Club in the morning and have the afternoon free to sightsee in and around the Lake Taupo area. Overnight in Sacred Waters Luxury Apartments, Lake Taupo.
Day 3
Play a round at Wairakei Golf Club in the morning. Suggested visit the spectacular Huka Falls in the afternoon. Overnight in Sacred Waters Luxury Apartments, Lake Taupo.
Day 4
Self-drive or take a 2 hour transfer from Lake Taupo to Havelock North. Spend some time exploring Havelock North, a pretty country town known for it's art, honey and friendly restaurants. Overnight at Porters Boutique Hotel, Havelock North.
Day 5
Play a round at the world-renowned Cape Kidnappers Golf Club in the morning. Suggested visit to Napier in the afternoon to see it's historical art deco arcitecture. Overnight at Porters Boutique Hotel, Havelock North.
Day 6
Self-drive or take a 4 hour transfer to Wellington, New Zealands capital city. Relax in the afternoon, or spend some time exploring Wellington's famous museum and art galleries. Overnight in the InterContinental, Wellington.
Day 7
Play a round at Royal Wellington Golf Club in the morning. Take a guided tour of Wellington with a local to get quickly accustomed to the city and it's culture. Overnight in the Intercontinental, Wellington.
Day 8
Play a round at Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club in the morning and ride the historic Wellington cable car to the Cable Car Museum and observatory. Enjoy spectacular views of the city. Overnight in the InterContinental, Wellington.
Day 9
Depart from Wellington International Airport.

Napier
Known as the Art Deco Capital of the world, Napier grew out of a massive earthquake (7.9 on the Richter scale) on the morning of 3rd February 1931. Destroyed by fire, the commercial heart of Napier was rebuilt in the Art Deco style, the style of that era, and as a result became the newest city in the world. With a variety of buildings in the styles of the 1930s - Stripped Classical, Spanish Mission, and above all Art Deco, Napier is truly unique. The city is enhanced by palms and the beautiful Norfolk Island pines and is surrounded by the world renowned Hawke's Bay wine region.
If you want to magnify the Art Deco experience why not travel in February and enjoy the Art Deco Festival, but do book well in advance as this is the busiest time of year in the Hawke's Bay region.
