Golf
The Grove, London
The Grove golf course was opened in 2003 and is now one of the UK's most prestigious golf courses. It's played host to numerous golf tournaments, including the World Golf Championship event, won by Tiger Woods in 2006. It's laid out in a parkland setting that features numerous trees and water hazards.
Hollinwell Golf Club
Hollinwell Golf Club is located in Nottinghamshire, England. It was founded in 1901 and has been host to numerous prestigious tournaments over the years, including the Ladies British Open Amateur Championship and the Men's Carrolls International. The course is set in picturesque countryside and features stunning views of Sherwood Forest.
Royal Lytham & St. Annes
Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club is located in Lancashire, England. It has played host to the Open Championship on eleven occasions, most recently in 2012. The club was founded in 1886, and the golf course was designed by golf course architect Harry Colt. The club's main claim to fame is that it's the only golf course in the world to have been designed by five different architects: Colt, James Braid, Donald Ross, Herbert Fowler and Fred Hawtree. In addition to the Open Championship, the course has also hosted the Ryder Cup, the Women's British Open and the European Tour's Dunhill Links Championship.
Hillside Golf Club
Hillside Golf Club is designed by renowned golf course architect A.W. Tillinghast and founded in 1911. It has since been ranked as one of the top 100 golf courses in the world by Golf Magazine. The course is situated on hillsides that offer panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It features challenging elevation changes, well-bunkered greens, and fast-running fairways. In addition to its 18-hole championship golf course, Hillside Golf Club also offers a 9-hole executive course, a driving range, and a putting green.
