The five-minute boat trip, through a Crystal-clear coral lagoon, simply adds to that special feeling. Opened in 2003 and designed by Bernhard Langer, the course is one of the longest in Mauritius and appeals to all levels, from advanced players to recreational golfers, with four sets of tees on each hole.

“Le Touessrok is still one of Mauritius’ most beautiful resorts. But in case the thatched nooks, mosaiced courtyards and white sand vistas aren’t enough, someone has kindly thought to build a championship golf course on the neighbouring Ile aux Cerfs. Access is by boat across a turquoise lagoon. Naturally.”
