Royal Cape Golf Club

This can accurately be described as a traditional parkland course, created on a level terrain much like parkland courses the world over. However, you are unlikely to find a backdrop as spectacular as Table Mountain when playing at your local golf course and the holes themselves present a pleasurable challenge. Bunkered greens, plentiful trees and well placed water obstacles all go towards making this a demanding course, as does the near constant wind.

Steenberg Golf Club

Another course where the wind is an ever present factor, Steenberg is rated as being in the top three courses to be found in the whole of South Africa. The 7th and 14th holes are outstanding and the picturesque surroundings in which Steenberg Golf Club is set will ensure that you remain in good cheer even if you should run into difficulties on this technically challenging course.

Milnerton Golf Club

Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and a lagoon to the east, Milnerton is a world-class 18-hole championship course that provides a unique South African golfing experience. Built on sea sand, many believe it is the only true links course in Africa. Its glorious and unobstructed views of Table Mountain act as a backdrop to unsurpassed beauty from most holes. Milnerton is truly a memorable golfing experience not to be missed.

Arabella Golf Club

Another top-ranked course, Arabella was voted the 5th best in the country in a recent poll. Designed by well-respected architect Peter Matkovich, it features a number of well-placed sand traps and water hazards that will keep you on your toes from the 1st to the 18th. Surrounded by the Kogelberg Mountains, this is another breath-taking setting in which to enjoy a round of golf.

Hermanus Golf Club

This course offers players 27 magnificent, yet challenging holes, and is regarded as a modern classic. Designed by South Africa's leading golf course architect, Peter Matkovich, the newly upgraded and redesigned course features modern classically designed holes, which make full use of the gentle and Scenic Mountain and coast landscape.
