California's Pacific Coast - Highway 1

An exhilarating driving experience, this twisting, cliff-hugging, 200km route along the central California coast takes in Hearst Castle, near Morro Bay followed by the incredible scenery of Big Sur, where mountains plunge into the Pacific. Stop off at the cliff top café, Nepenthe, for lunch before heading onto the chic town of Carmel.
