Established in 1998, Ria Bintan has become one of Asia’s premier golfing destinations, attracting players worldwide with its two stunning courses crafted by the legendary Gary Player.

The award-winning 18-hole Ocean Course runs along the South China Sea, offering breathtaking ocean views, while the 9-hole Forest Course, set among mature woodlands, challenges golfers with its strategic bunkers and fairways.

Consistently recognized as the best golf course in Asia and Indonesia, Ria Bintan Golf Club has hosted numerous prestigious regional events, including the annual Ria Bintan Open.

Laguna Bintan Golf Course (2 rounds)

Laguna Golf Bintan, designed by Greg Norman and opened in June 1998, has been a favorite for locals and visitors alike. In 2015, a major redesign was undertaken to enhance the existing layout. The project, challenging yet well-executed, transformed the course into a stunning new experience.

Today, the course features breathtaking ocean views, particularly on holes 2 and 4, while holes 6 and 8 highlight beautiful lagoons. The 9th hole, a par-4, ascends toward the clubhouse, leading to holes 10-15, where dense jungle and striking rock formations come into play. The 15th hole, one of the most spectacular, winds through the jungle with views of the sea.

The final stretch includes the 17th hole, a dramatic challenge with a tee shot over the sea and natural rock formations.

Itinerary

Day 1:

Take the ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in Singapore. Arrive to Bintan Island and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2:

After breakfast transfer to either Laguna Bintan GC or Ria Bintan GC for your first round of golf.

Afternoon and eveing at leisure.

Day 3:

After breakfast transfer to either Laguna Bintan GC or Ria Bintan GC for your second round of golf.

Afternoon and eveing at leisure.

Day 4:

After breakfast transfer to either Laguna Bintan GC or Ria Bintan GC for your third round of golf.

Afternoon and eveing at leisure.

Day 5:

After breakfast transfer to either Laguna Bintan GC or Ria Bintan GC for your fourth and final round of golf.

Afternoon - transfer to the ferry terminal on Bintan and take the ferry back to Tanah Merah Terminal, Singapore.
