El Saler Golf Club
Amongst continental Europe’s top ten courses El Saler should not be missed. A great links on the edge of the Mediterranean, with two contrasting nines laid out through umbrella pines and sand dunes. The back nine has definite similarities to a Scottish links layout.
El Bosque Golf Club
Once ranked number five in Spain, this tree lined course is well worth playing whilst in the Valencia area. Designed in 1975 by Robert Trent Jones Snr. who designed Valderrama, El Bosque has many hazards and elevated greens making club selection that little bit harder.

Valencia
Host of the 2007 America’s Cup, Valencia is one of the most historic cities in Spain but also has stunning ultra modern architecture. Many of the sights are conveniently grouped in or around the centre, the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and The Museu del Seu contains a chalice said to be the one used by Jesus Christ at the Last Supper - the Holy Grail itself.
Buñol
If you’re really adventurous and in the area on the last Wednesday in August take a trip to Buñol and take part in La Tomatina, the world’s largest tomato fight. As part of the Buñol festival La Tomatina see 30,000 combatants hurling 40,000 kg’s of tomatoes at each other just for the fun of it!
